LCL - The Awards 2026

Now in its third year, LCL Awards - 'The Awards' 2026 was once again held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole following InstallerSHOW at the NEC, providing the perfect setting to celebrate excellence in vocational training and the outstanding achievements of LCL Awards' approved centres.

The awards recognised excellence across seven categories: Gas Centre of the Year, Electrical Centre of the Year, Green Centre of the Year, Inclusivity, Innovation, Community Engagement and Trainee of the Year.
From developing the next generation of skilled professionals to driving innovation in training delivery and making a positive impact within local communities, this year's entries showcased the passion, dedication and commitment of LCL Awards' centres across the UK.

All entries were assessed by an independent panel of industry experts, who praised the exceptionally high standard of submissions and the continued commitment of centres to raising standards, supporting learners and responding to the evolving needs of the building services sector.

Our 2026 judging panel:

  • Stewart Clements, Director of the Heating & Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC)
  • Hattie Hasan MBE, CEO of Stopcocks and long-time advocate for women in the trades
  • Charlotte Lee, CEO of The Heat Pump Association
  • Jerry Whiteley, Technical Manager at the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE)

We were delighted to welcome Hattie Hasan to present the Inclusivity Award in person.

The LCL Awards team is already looking ahead to LCL Awards - 'The Awards' 2027, continuing its commitment to recognising excellence, celebrating achievement and raising standards across vocational training.
