The target groups for the Qualification are those learners who are;
- Preparing for employment, new entrants to the occupation.
- Existing personnel in the industry seeking to obtain a qualification to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of gas utilisation.

What is involved in delivering this qualification?
To deliver this qualification, a centre must be approved by LCL Awards and demonstrate the ability to meet their quality assurance requirements. This includes having qualified teachers and assessors with relevant teaching credentials and industry experience, as well as appropriate policies and procedures in place.
Centres also need access to suitable facilities and learning resources to support the delivery of the theoretical content. This includes classroom space, industry-relevant documentation, and some equipment to illustrate key concepts. Centres must be equipped to administer online multiple choice tests, in line with LCL Awards’ assessment and verification standards.
