- Housing association staff and local authority teams
- Property and facilities managers
- Residential maintenance staff with responsibility for safety checks
It enhances your understanding of compliance responsibilities and helps you to recognise risks, making it an excellent complement to roles where tenant and property safety is a priority.
What progression opportunities are available when I complete this qualification?
This qualification provides a strong foundation in electrical safety awareness and can lead to further courses in property management, housing compliance, or health and safety or more technical qualifications in electrical installation, inspection and testing.
By building confidence in electrical safety knowledge, the qualification also provides some base knowledge for broader training pathways in building services and housing management.
What is involved in delivering this qualification?
To deliver the Level 2 Award in Electrical Safety Awareness in Social Housing and Residential Dwellings, a training centre must be approved by LCL Awards and meet their delivery and assessment standards.
