LCL Awards proudly sponsors Women in Trades (WIT) 2025
01 Apr 2025
LCL Awards is delighted to once again be sponsoring the annual Women in Trades (WIT) event, a celebration of the incredible work being done by tradeswomen across the UK.
Now in its eighth year, WIT 2025 will be held on Friday 4th July in the heart of Camden Town at “The Camden,” London. The event begins at 10am and finishes at 4pm and promises to be a day of fun, learning and networking. For tradeswomen and trainees the event is completely free!
As one of the only events created by and for tradeswomen, WIT provides a much-needed space for women in the industry to connect, share experiences and discuss both the joys and challenges of working in the trades. From the satisfaction of completing a job well done to the struggles of ill-fitting PPE and workplace discrimination, WIT offers a platform for discussion, support and solutions.
Take advantage of this great venue and make a weekend of it!
The day will include:
-
Inspiring speakers
-
A chance to meet and network with fellow tradeswomen
-
Engaging discussions and support from allies
-
Great prizes to be won in the raffle
-
Goody bags
-
A free lunch

Speaking about LCL Awards' involvement, Hattie Hasan MBE, founder of WIT Events and Stopcocks Group Limited, said:
"We're so delighted that LCL Awards, who've supported the annual WIT event for the last few years and with whom we worked closely to devise their Inclusivity Charter for training centres, are joining us once again at WIT this year. We and all under-represented groups appreciate LCL Awards standing for genuine inclusivity."
Hattie helped develop our award-winning Inclusivity Charter, which earned HVR’s Training Initiative of the Year in 2022. This initiative supports approved centres in fostering diversity through respectful learning environments and flexible course options, enabling learners to train around work or family commitments.
