Community Engagement Award

Criteria

The LCL Community Engagement Award — new to 2025 — will recognise a centre that goes above and beyond to make a positive impact on its local community. 

Examples include centres that actively engage with schools, charities, businesses or community groups to promote skills development, sustainability and career opportunities in building services. 

Whether through outreach programs, partnerships or initiatives that provide training access to underrepresented groups, this award celebrates a centre that uses its expertise to support and uplift the wider community.
